Secondly, why Asians? Why not Africans or Native Indians?

Believe it or not but my local news station has no asians reporters or anchors.

because it shows the "model minority" and the white folks feel comfortable with a non-threatening (female) minority, while comforting themselves with the thought that, "hey, we're showing minorities on TV, we're not racists!"

Surprised no one's mentioned the age to breast size rule of female reporters (with some exceptions, female reporters retain their jobs as long as their bust is greater than their age).

This relates to the topic as Asian women tend to have smaller chests than, say, American women.
