Oh know that's not why I said he was insane. His insanity in my mind is derived from him biding to a obvious double standard and hypocrisy. True, not the most evident in this thread, but I am basing this from other previous ones as which he has posted to.

Try "every intelligence agency in the world." Saddam made himself look suspicious of having WMDs so he could pretend he had some power.

You're right, fuckwad! Someone who doesn't have a lack of apathy generally isn't insane!
Apathy- a state of indifference (since it is obvious you're using words you do not know)

I like Kucinich's term: "Cherry Picking". The Bush administration formulated a theory then pressured the CIA to find facts to match it, rather than basing their theory off of the facts. They also disregarded legitimate and processed evidence that contradicted their claims, evidence that would later be proven 100% accurate.

Saddam had illegal missles. Violated several UN resolutions. Gave inaccurate/incomplete information to the UN all so he could make everyone think he had WMDs so that Iran would lay off his back. Then the sanctions would end in 2003 (some time after the invasion) so he could rebuild his Nuke Program.
FOX naturally...
And because I know people like you will instantly dismiss anything FOX says (no matter what it is), here's the supporting link:

I do find it ironic that you guys will say "Why didn't Bush listen to the CIA when they said the Iraqi people wouldn't be so welcoming", yet you outright blame Bush soley for the WMD fiasco when he got that information FROM THE CIA.
Saddam himself did not have an affiliation with Al Qeada, but Al Zarqawi (former leader of Al Qaeda in Iraq) was training operatives in the northern region of Iraq.
Congrats. You fit the bill of ignorance that has been so widely displayed by the anti-war crowed.
I find it so fucking humorous that you can take one line and run with it to absurd lengths to the point of putting words in my mouth (I NEVER mentioned the CIA) and assuming you know EVERY last reason why I'm anti-war. I'm not even going to touch the fact that instead of going after said camps he decides to topple Saddam (which even you admit had no links to Al Qeada. )
Perhaps lie though wasn't the best way of putting it. It's more like a false statement based on gut instinct. My main beef is this. Why the hell didn't Bush let the weapons inspectors do their damn jobs? Now that Saddam is dead and weapons of mass destruction weren't there, why the hell are we still in there. That's my beef my good friend and not what you have stupidly assumed based on one statement.

Nooo, Bush didn't listen to the inspectors because the inspectors weren't finding any of the WMD that Bush hoped they would find. That's what led Bush to his [terroristic] 48 hour ultimatum to Saddam, the UN inspectors were reporting no WMD and Bush needed a reason.

Well, I think no more terror threats is at least a moderate benefit for the US.

Oh also for the people who think the whole world agreed with us on Iraq having WMDs, 3/5 members of the UN security council weren't convinced there were WMDs (France, Russia, China unconvinced/ UK, US convinced), which is why it never became a UN operation.

Much has already been published about the sexual preferences and notorious behavior of former President Clinton.
However, little has been reported on the sexual practices of the current Commander-in-Chief. It has recently been learned that the President and Mrs. Bush only make love with Laura Bush on top since George W. Bush can only fuck up.

wow
dumb
if you consider US military bases part of the United States. Then terrorist attacks occur nearly every day. If you consider the citizens of the united states part of the US. Then again terrorist attacks occur nearly every day. If you a merely talking about the continental US. Then threats still occur daily although we've stopped paying attention to every single one. If you are narrowing your view even further to include only legitimate threats. Then we still are threatened monthly although we again don't hear about all of them. If you are so completely out of touch with reality that you only consider threats those which will result in the successful destruction of US citizenry and property on the continental US... It is still naive to believe something won't eventually get through. This is regardless of whether we win or lose the Iraq war. This is regardless of whether or not we win in Afghanistan. Because. WE CANNOT WIN A WAR ON TERROR. It isn't possible. Not for the foreseeable future. There will always be malcontents. There will always be dissent. There will always be a desire to topple the powers that be. That is the nature of a free world. But there will also always be people willing to use violence to that end. That is the nature of being human.

"President Bush will go down in history as the torture president. He has now defied a majority of Congress to allow the use of interrogation techniques that any reasonable observer would call torture." - Jennifer Daskal, Human Rights Watch.
"I have heard nothing to suggest that information obtained from enhanced interrogation techniques has prevented an imminent terrorist attack. And I have heard nothing that makes me think the information obtained from these techniques could not have been obtained through traditional interrogation methods used by military and law enforcement interrogators." - Senator Jay Rockefeller.

You know I thought I'd just bump this since I've noticed a few anti-Bush topics that the mods then have to close down.
But I do offer a few thoughts.
One of my profs cited a source that claimed Bush was the dumbest president in the past 50 years. Out of curiosity I did some digging to see how the various presidents ranked. When I googled the subject I found this article from snopes.com. It seems that the study is a hoax and that Bush has a higher IQ than JFK.
Also while all the angsty conspiracy theorists shrilly decry his assumption of dictatorial powers under the Patriot Act...I offer you this: Hurricane Katrina. The worst natural disaster in recent US history. Yet he followed the Constitution (and ended up getting shit about it). See while people complain about the "slow" federal response...by law the fed's hands are tied until the Governor asks for it. Bush had the perfect oportunity to seize more power under the Patriot Act...but did not.

Now Scott McClellan is even letting the Bush out of the bag with his new book/memoir.
I'm not one for reading a PR guys memoirs, but this is one that should be interesting.
With tasty little quotes like: "veered terribly off course","was not 'open and forthright on Iraq,", and took a "permanent campaign approach"
And on the Iraq war:
"it was all about manipulating sources of public opinion to the president's advantage"
"What I do know is that war should only be waged when necessary, and the Iraq war was not necessary."
Can't wait for the Bush supporters to mark Scott as a misinformed idiot who is just pissed off that he got fired.

I can't even believe that there are still people who support Bush. He just pisses me off so much. He's a puppet figurehead with an IQ of probably lower than that of a child that the government used to get things that they wanted. I never saw why people elected him in the first place, not to mention the SECOND time. Usually people are elected because they are good public speakers, but "Dubya" isn't. Him rambling on with sentences that don't even connect or make sense doesn't make him sound very good when talking to a big crowd.
Here's just one of the many, MANY dumb things he's said: "There are jobs Americans aren't doing. ... If you've got a chicken factory, a chicken-plucking factory, or whatever you call them, you know what I'm talking about." --George W. Bush. Tipp City, Ohio, April 19, 2007
There's a whole website with pages, pages, and more pages of things like this that Bush said. Most are worse.

Leme kick this topic up a notch, Bush is a murdering bastard n more than 9/10 of the world know he will rot in hell.
Bush's threatening to Iran and American citizens with WW3 is about the last bit that Bush can even do now since the people have their line drawn and Bush can only talk shit while he makes damn sure not to cross it for fear of getting his ass beat or worse.
I'm sure peopel ahve already said this a hundred times here but yeah, Bush is going down as the worst president in the history of America, the worst war ever, and the worst people who fought and died in that war thinking it was their duty to, also the worst people who let such a bastard be president when the government were the ones who made their votes more important than ours which were mostly for the other guy.
