Some advice for a newbie maybe? 2017-07-20 09:00:44

Hello everyone. I'm looking to buy an amateur mic and a stand because I cant keep recording on my phone forever. Since I live in a small town in Serbia a studio mic isn't so easy to come by, so I'm looking to order something off of e-bay. I have a budget of about 90$ and these are what I'm currently looking at:

PS: Sorry if bad spelling or grammar

Hi!

Do you have an audio interface, or are you looking for a microphone you can plug directly into your computer or laptop? Because if you look at the details on the eBay listing, see the part that says 48v phantom power? That means the microphone needs some power to run on, like from an audio interface that goes *between* your microphone and computer -- and an audio interface will add to the price of any microphone that needs one.

Personally, I've only ever used USB (straight into a USB port on computer) or XLR (XLR -> interface -> USB port on computer), so I'm not sure about 3.5 mm connector microphones. Apparently that's like a standard headphone jack, but that's as far as my knowledge goes there!
