Hi cannies,
Currently I'm having some issues with my 'artistic journey' and I have stopped art. I was wondering do you think I should keep going or stop!

Artistic journey? How so? Did you hit an artist's block or something?

Well, I couldn't keep the motivation. It didn't seem fun to me. I remember when I started my journey and it was fun but that changed it started to get less fun. When I started I used to do challenges like draw with 2 marker pens mash two characters together but I stopped that. I guess I lost motivation cause it wasn't fun.
Motivation issues?
This might help?

I turn water into water
You either have to find a way to force yourself (which doesn't work for everyone), or rediscover what inspired/motivated you in the first place. For me, I found that feelings of sadness makes me want to draw everything AND the deep amount of emotions helps me be more creative. Others do the same thing, but with happiness or anger.
It could also be that you're doing the same thing over and over without going out of your comfort zone, and things are starting to get stale. You could also try experimenting with different styles or mediums to help make things more interesting.
But regardless, just know that every artist goes through a point like this and it's 100% normal. You just have to power through it somehow.
it's not up to other people what you should do. if you don't like doing art, don't do it. recognize the difference between not wanting to do something and merely finding something challenging
Thx for your kindness :-) (that's probably why you only have 5 fans lol)

Thanks mate, I guess I have been practicing the same things over and over thinking that it will make me better but it got boring real fast.
Ok.. either take on studies and drawing from observation while you're blank.
Or do drugs.
