If the trailers are good, they might improve the batting average and also get people excited about the full version, which will in turn get it more views and good votes. Most trailers suck, though.

most of the time, they are crap anyways... why not work on the real flash instead of wasting time on trailers...

WE all know the reason it's a trailer is because they were to lazy to finish the actual movie
AND
no way in hades will they ever submit the full movie!!

Yet ... all these crappy trailers are making it into the portal!!
