Yeah, it checks the user-agent of your browser, so if you use developer tools to emulate a phone, the site will switch to mobile view.
Bear in mind, it is an emulation.

If it makes you feel any better, it looks to my eye like though it is not symmetrical about a line bisecting the top center lobe, it IS NEARLY symmetrical about a line of symmetry bisecting the upper right lobe. So just turn your head 72 degrees to the right and look at it. At least it has A line of symmetry (or something very close), albeit not one that runs through it vertically.
