Wait what, like your whole system or just the uterus? Either way, that must've hurt for a while.

Uterus and cervix. Had to get the vaginal canal reconstructed. The surgeon said to think of it like a toilet paper tube in which they pinch it shut and fold it over. They let my ovaries and fallopian tubes so I didn't develop cysts or go into menopause at age 31. Didn't quite work; still got cysts.
But yeah, the scars are finally fading and it hurt for three months straight.
