Aw, I thought this was a thread where I could post a LMGTFY link. I appreciate the fact that you actually prompted a discussion.
Unfortunately though, I'm awful at geometry so I'm not much help.
You know its a slow day when people start making fucking math threads.
The only information you can deduce from the figure is the Earth's circumference once the distance between Alexandria and Syene is known.
Apart from that, the figure is of little assistance.
There aren't any wells and sticks on the moon, dummy. It's impossible to calculate it's circumference.

All you need to know is the distance to the moon and its angular size on the sky. You can estimate the distance to the moon from the communications delay for lunar missions.
Or, just look it up on Wikipedia.
