Judgeing by the time and place? 2017-04-13 15:05:45

I ones made a topic on this forum

The godparents came to visit as and then they and my parents decided to play a rummy card game so I showed them the forum topic that I just posted a link to.And in the response they said that things this leaders did that I point out sound more like things they did that I like and dislike. They say that in order to understand this leaders you have to understand the time period they came from and situation in where there Countrys were what you think about that?

you have to understand the time period they came from and situation in where there Countrys were.

Cultural heritage and current / past predicaments is not enough.

It is best not to think of left or right with such issues like gay marriage and freedom of information or "freedom" of anything for that matter like Canada. It is ridiculous to believe that "your rights end where someone elses begins". There is a lot of limited speech in Canada like the JDL and freedom of information act is entirely contradictory. The clever liberal idiom of "I don't support what you say but I'll defend your right to say it". Please give me a break.

It is best instead to think from a maco-economic perspective and leave sociology behind altogether. You can't make everyone happy. Being a collectivist, socialist or communist has never benefited a country in the long haul. Just stick to pro capitalist / market sentiments. A fascist versus a libertarian is always more preferable than a socialist or authoritarian.
