filling problem with animate 2017-03-17 03:06:23 Reply

when I select a keyframe and then buckettool colors it changes the color of the strokes. But I only want to fill bweteen the strokes.

What to do?

ok i had this problem before... you have to change the bucket every time think of the bucket as the strokes color and the pencil as the outline bc if you make a box the outline will be whatever the color is in the pencil box...

When you select the keyframe, all objects in the frame are selected, you must unselect the items by clicking the stage or elsewhere once you select the keyframe. Then you can use the bucket normally.

so it fills it bec all effects effect the selected area. has nothing to do with the stroke and what u mentioned confusing stuff. I think what u say has no logical connection, sry

If you click on a keyframe you will select its content. Doing so will change your selected color in whatever you selected.

To work around this, you will need to make sure you go to a frame without selecting it.

Use keyboard shortcuts "<" and ">" to go a frame forward of backward. Or instead of selecting the keyframe click the timeline (where the frame numbers are). This makes sure you won't select any keyframe and you keep the color you selecting that you want to use to fill between strokes.
