In red are the levels ending in 9, in green are the cool levels.
This is the official cool levels list, do not contest it.
EDIT: It's also a rule that whatever level I'm in at the time is the the best level.

how is the level 54 icon cool? and also the level 15 icon is great as well, i mean if you had that icon as a real life golden gun it would be cool but on a website? nah. and whats up with the level 33 one? is it supposed to be a bomb or something
I remember when Level 9 used to be the base of the mountain, before the real leveling-up began.
Basically, 1-9 were fixed and just days apart, whereas 10-30 (30 being the maximum at the time) were a sliding scale that increased with the experience of the highest-level user of the time.
It would take weeks, if not months, to get to Level 10 and above. And dropping out would eventually set you all the way back to Level 9.

i want to ask a question, lets say you were at level 9 back then would you still have had the same level after the 2007 redesign or would your level have changed based on your exp

Not only were there more levels to contend with after the redesign, but they all had different fixed values.
In fact, we're still using those same post-2007 levels today.
