It's an old channel that I named Ray Kapinos because I was in Elementary School and my mom didn't want people to know my real name. piplupfan77 was a huge inspiration to me so I did a lot of stop motions.
I even had this entire stop motion DBZ series I made, but it was on a channel that got deleted and all the files are gone so I can never get it back. All I have is the first episode made with a DSi. I eventually got good and gave it music, voices, used a legit camera, and editing software. It was fun, but it took a lot more time than 2D animation.

It's long gone, probably along with the channel I made it on. It was just me smothering my face in ice cream while random sound clips of Two worlds played in the background.

I wouldn't show mine because you'd prob kill yourself.

The very first thing I made myself was Pendulum Backmasking where I reversed the backwards part in CCR's "45 Revolutions Per Minute, Part 1".

My most successful video by far was MacCity vs Bayern Munich Benny Hill Style which I didn't post on youtube at first. I uploaded on vimeo and shared it in a small community. After 3 days it had like 100 views or so. Nice joke, now move on.

Then someone posted it on facebook and within two days it had over 700k views, it even was shared at bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk (where people thought the creator must be a United-Fan... :( ). But then it got removed due to violation of copyright.

I saw it on youtube a while later, uploaded by someone who's not me. Why I know this is my work? Because of the watermark visible in the video. :)
Since then I bought the program and decided to upload it again without the watermark.

First thing I made was the default profile picture from 2009 Youtube... poorly (like using the WWM fade effects) being turned into a 'dumb' version of it. Also I narrated it through default WWM text slides and used classical Mozart music in the background for some reason.
I mean, I was like 8-9 years old but it was still pretty bad.

No, the religion horse has been kicked to death on that platform and views have moved on to big production style set ups. If you want to get noticed now you better get very talented with After Effects or Sony Vegas as quality video goes a lot further than quality content now. Youtube is also encroaching on the television market as they are pushing content with longer watch and retention time, what does that sound like to you?

It's not possible for average joe to put out long quality content fast, and I'll use Game Theory as an example as that's 1-2 guys that put out a good video every 2-3 weeks. Guess what, big companies have the resources and people to put out quality content every day, so to be a little guy making it big on youtube is VERy difficult now. You essentially have to discover the next new genre and be good at it, see Pewdiepie, James Rolfe, that popular make up girl, Simple Pickup etc...

Going back to my first Let's Play I find it painful, I was certainly more awkward, had a worse microphone, less skilled in video editing and I made the stupid mistake of using windows movie maker to publish my video (quick tip to everyone, don't use windows movie maker unless doing a slideshow, it butchers video quality).

Now I make supplementary videos, edit together multiple together and tend to eat through countless re-recordings to be happy with the end results.

Actually tempted to scrap my older videos to put them up to good quality but also tempted to leave them there as a sort of way to show how to improve over time.

I filmed this on the night of February 10, 2008 but uploaded it on the following day. The whole show was meant to be my 18th birthday present, though I paid for it--no one else did. My birthday is on February 12th, so do the math to figure out my current age. I used a 3.2MP digital camera and not a smartphone, because that was more normal at the time, and it would also explain the quality. I remain a huge Rotting Christ fan now.

Long gone, but I think the first one I did was a response to an ashens video where he was trying to find the fastest game over possible. I did a crappy recording of a game called "Michael Andretti's GP" where you can forfeit the game in under a second.

After a while I did another few but my account got hacked and trolled badly so I deleted the entire thing.
