Import Art to Earlier Flash Version

I made the mistake of designing my new logo in Flash CC, and I want to update my old ActionScript2 game made in Flash 8 with the new logo. So the question, is there a feasible way to import vector art from Flash CC to Flash 8?

A simple copy paste produced a bitmap. I've tried googling but haven't found anything relevant. If it's unfeasible I suppose I can just use a png or trace the logo, but I'd like to know if it's possible to port because it would save time and make animation of things possible.

Anyone have a similar problem? Or any clues on how to solve it?

You could try exporting the animation to a SWF and then import the swf in flash 8.

Worked like a charm. Thanks. I completely forgot swf importing was even a thing. Haven't done that in ages.
