Hello, I was thinking about buying a Car amplifier (they are much cheaper) and connecting it to my 430watt corsair pc power supply unit to power it. I was going to wire the 600 watt amp (2 channels) to two in wall subwoofers that each have 200 watts max. I'm almost positive these subwoofers will be underpowered still because of the power lost during conversion. What do you guys think?
Don't use a pc power supply. Just get a high amperage 12v power supply like this:
