Newgrounds Chat: Dungeons + Dragons

What's up Newgrounds!

I'm putting together a mighty event on the Newgrounds Chatroom! I'd like to throw together a party of heroic adventurers and lead you on a campaign in Dungeons and/or Dragons, the slightly sarcastic, legally safe Newgrounds version of the famous fantasy roleplaying game!

The way I see it, we've got a maximum player base of seven adventurers in each game, and we could run as many games as we need as long as we have enough Dungeon Masters.

I figure this Saturday (14 January 2017, 8:00PM Central Time) would be as good a day as any to get these shenanigans rolling! I'll also have a Discord set up for those who want to voice chat.

I think this could be really cool, especially for nerdy Newgroundlings like myself.

Anyone who wants to DM a campaign is more than welcome to, just PM me for information.

Most importantly, if you want to play please post in this thread! That way I can get a rough number of people interested.

I'll send out character sheets two days before the event.

Hey this is a good idea for a premise.
I'd be a government spy who has gone delusional about robots and their purpose to humanity.
The spy would either be about stealing information to build androids that do what the spy thinks they should be used for.
Or like some lame ass engineer who uploads a consciousness script that doubles as a virus that forces them to kill other robots and people's pets.

Very good point, not to mention D'n'D can be fairly fast paced and the BBS wouldn't be suited for it.

Hey have you thought about trying an easier to run / play game like dungeon world? It's hipster d&d or using roll20.net?
