Scamming sites pop up on mobile NG

I can not go a week without seeing just ONE stupid message from a wicked scamming website. You know, those sites that tell you stuff like: "Congratulations! you've won $1000!" or "You're the 10000th visitor today!" And this only happens on mobile! Remember, those sites can steal private information and ruin your life if you believe their message!

Please resolve this issue!

Just because I had a bad past here doesn’t mean that I am forever bad. A man can change.

Hmm. I don't have a iPhone so it may be different for us. Just click around in the browser settings and check if there is a option.

Just checked a few seconds before your post, found nothing.

There should be a option somewhere to disable ads and pop ups, it's probably hidden somewhere.

Nope. There's no option that I can find easily. Man, I think were going to need help to get rid of the scammers. Think of somebody, guys!

then we have no other choice... WE MUST TAKE ACTION OURSELVES! MAKE THEM FEAR US

Alright, I think we will need some help with that though.

See if that makes a difference.

My phone is set up to where I can't access that option

Restrictions might be turned on.

Settings > General > Restrictions

That or there is not "history or website data" to clear, also restart your iPhone. :)

Restrictions has a code that sprint set up, no one knows it

Is this appearing as a banner ad or a page takeover? There shouldn't be anything other than banners on mobile although that doesn't mean something isn't sneaking through an ad company. Our new mobile friendly pages don't have ANY ad code running at the moment. Do you know what specific pages you're on when it happens?

Ayy, I get those pop-ups too on my iPhone. I just assumed it was a virus from all the porn I watch on my mobile device.

I'm frequently redirected to some shady "virus detected on your phone" site while opening ng submission pages on mobile, didn't happen to me when browsing purely bbs so far.

Page Takeover.

(This part is Tom talking, don't be confused) There shouldn't be anything other than banners on mobile although that doesn't mean something isn't sneaking through an ad company. Our new mobile friendly pages don't have ANY ad code running at the moment. Do you know what specific pages you're on when it happens?

(This is me talking) I'm not really sure, but I think It's when I go to the forums, and some other pages of the website that I can't remember. All I know is that they pop up randomly, interrupting what you are doing and making you have to do whatever you were doing again.

Reminder: Scamming sites are just what they sound like. I have proof that I am getting these pop-ups under this post.
