Apples to apples, Rummy, 21, There's also a card game we have that's like cards against humanity but toned down a bit.

I like Apples to Apples too
Texas Hold 'Em, probably. Cards Against Humanity is pretty great with alcohol.
A truly prophetic sig...
Favourite card game is Klaverjas. I can never find people to play this with though since you need exactly four players and usually I can't find enough people who know how play or there's too many players and we decide to do something else.
With video game card games I was pretty addicted to Hearthstone for a long time, though I never got that high up in ranked play.
Yu-Gi-Oh! is probably the only one I've played. Apart from the ones built-in with Windows. Solitaire was pretty fun though.
As for real card games. Uno! Bankrutt! Tjurskalle! Pokemon! Pukemon! Digimon! MAGIC! Ninja Burger! Love 'em all.

Solitaire and Crazy 8's.

CAH is a really fun game.
"It's called consolidation; strengthen governments and corporations, weaken individuals."
Yu-Gi-Oh!, Duel Masters, Uno, Poker, Blackjack, and Cards Against Humanity.
I would say Pokemon, but I can't see myself ever playing Pokemon cards again. I used to as a kid, but now I think it would just be boring as hell. Not to mention that it always took forever to finish a game.
It's all shits and giggles until someone giggles and shits.

You have to play munchkin!!! It's the best card game out there. It's a spoof on games like dungeons and dragons, you start as a level 1 character then explore a dungeon, fight monsters, loot treasure, form alliances, and betray your friends in an effort to get to level 10 first. Such a great game

Maybe Christmas cards
Gin Rummy is quite fun. I also enjoy Cards Against Humanity, Superfight and Munchkin. Then of course there are some classics that can be fun as well.

I played superfight at school
I love to play Texas Hold'Em, UNO and Phase 11. In the past I also played a lot of YuGiOh.
Rummy, Uno, Egyptian Rat Screw and Cards Against Humanity.
Lots of Cards Against Humanity in here. Don't you get sick of it? I find the humour and formula wore off quite fast even when showing it to new people, and it's kind of inherently depressing to be sitting with a bunch of friends and having pre-written cards make jokes for you. Whatever though, I like that that sort of game could become so successful.
Gwent from The Witcher 3 is a recent favourite. It's a game of bluffing where you draw ten or so cards and that's all you get for the whole round. It's about knowing when to play each card to bait your opponent into throwing away their best cards, and giving them a false sense of what you're still holding. There was a real life version made but I imagine it's kind of a pain in the ass, there's so much calculating and such that's done instantaneously by the AI. You'd have to roll a lot of dice and keep track of so many points.
There's a standalone version coming soon on both PC and consoles though, with booster packs like in Hearthstone. Can't wait for that.
Hearthstone itself is alright too but I never got too far into it. Just feels like you need to either invest a lot of money for good cards or prepare to lose a lot if you want to get into it now.
Caravan from Fallout New Vegas was quite good too, but I hate how there's a luck stat that dictates how well you're going to do rather than genuine chance.
Over in the real world I used to play Yugioh and wouldn't mind getting back into it. There's so many new types of cards and ways of playing though. Synchro summoning? Get outta here.
Also Tetra Master is excellent even if it can feel random at times, it's way better than Triple Triad. @axehandle-stain will have to duel me irl about that. You want a game that completely changes based on arbitrary regional rules, where you can just paste your own face on a card and claim it's the best one? No, I won't stand for that.
Magic the gathering one of the best card game out there.
Kind regards,

Cards Against Humanity gets old really fast.
I've played card games that I thought were entertaining but none that I thought were GREAT. I've heard excellent things about Bridge but I don't know how to play it.
If I offer to help you in a post, PM me to get it. I often forget to revisit threads.
