u have a dumb way of thinking. Why would you assume that feeding the hunger only applies to the people in the US when at the same time the left paper suggests eliminating cancer across the globe?
your next reply is something about I said president of the US in the op
Cancer, most definately cancer
which hopefully includes third wave feminism
Hunger. I wouldn't be surprised if more people were dying from hunger than from cancer

Cancer is a problem is the US, hunger is not. As the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, I would have my top priorities be to my people.

Oh my...
Mate...
This is so selfish to be honest.
Countries are a lie, we need not to help our country's people, but to help our world's people.
Cancer had a good run, but it's time to put it down.
But in all seriousness, fuck cancer.
Just stop worrying, and love the bomb.

he clearly means that cancer is a bigger concern here in the U.S.
countries with hunger are irrelevant to his decision
first of all
hunger is not an issue on the U.S.
Who are you quoting?
he clearly means that cancer is a bigger concern here in the U.S.
so?
i don't care. thread's not exclusively about the US.
countries with hunger are irrelevant to his decision
therefore irrelevant to this topic
Can I fight to get every cancerous tumor removed and made into food for the hungry? Kill two birds with one stone.
Cure cancer because it doesn't take a ton of money to feed the hungry where as with cancer it is a lot harder.
Surprised by all the people saying cancer.
One big reason I would rather eliminate hunger is child development. Hunger results in people that are less intelligent and healthy, both because of nutrition and due to them having to start working before they've gotten a complete education. If no one were food insecure people would be able to make long-term plans about their future, and that would be the big change.
If I offer to help you in a post, PM me to get it. I often forget to revisit threads.

touché.
i'd imagine hunger would induce ulcers before it gave rise to actual cancer with all the hormone imbalances an erratic dietary schedule must entail.
cancer cells function by eating into normal cells' nutrients but being otherwise useless at keeping the body alive.
either way means a slow and agonizing death. but cancer is more unpredictable an enemy so..
best to be prepared.

the problem with making goals always has been sleep schedules, increases in cost of healthcare, dysfunctional families...
food might help somewhat but..
having food means nothing if there's not enough time before you go to work/school to both eat it and take care of your personal hygiene.
I have a feeling that there's going to be a cure for cancer soon enough, famine will always be hard to get rid of. It's also a much bigger problem and it also just seems pretty selfish to me. If you'd let me choose between getting rid of all diseases or hunger I'd definitely choose getting rid of diseases.

Probably, but there are a bunch incurably deseases that aren't cancers. Cure all incurable deseases would be much better imo. Choosing hunger over cancer just seems like a no brainer to me.

If we cure cancer we'll just die of something else. Feed the hungry.

yeah I know, I was just pointing out that I as a real person don't care about america. But yeah choosing cancer over hunger would probably be better for the US
