Sorry if I sound like a noob but there's this song called My Race ( VIP Mix ) by DatPhoria and at the drop there's this really cool vocal distortion-crunch. Sorta sounds like they made a part of the vocal cut to a millasecond and then stretched it, but with different sounds of the vocals. Can anybody help me achieve this sound?

im noob with doing this stuff by ear, but try combining a saw in serum with formant and hp filters and maybe adding some distortion

You need a vocoder, or some other vocal processor.
