I'm gonna go with dipping. Never met a person who dipped until I moved to Virginia. Cigarette smoke is bothersome, but having somebody with brown teeth, chewing while trying to talk with you, and then spitting that wad out with no regard as to where it goes is fairly high on the list. My former boss dipped (I'm sure he still does), and he'd only ever walk over to my work station to spit that shit out in one of the sinks, or, if I was lucky, in a floor drain. I can walk around that mess until I have a moment to hose it off, but I work in a deli/bakery. I didn't want that in one of the sinks I needed to wash pans, fryer cages, and rotisserie parts. Why would anyone want chewed tobacco mixed into the soap? ...fucking dirtbag.
