Is there anywhere specific where you don't take your cell phone with you or anywhere specific where you won't turn your cellphone on for an extended period of time, or turn your data on (when you don't have WiFi)?

Whenever I go camping in the summer, I bring my cell phone, but I keep it turned off from the time I pull into the campground, until the time I pull out.

Don't think so! It's a small, but important extension of my identity, and I would probably lose it if it wasn't within arm's reach at all times.

Mosh Pits, it gets expensive to replace them when you fall, get kneed, or have it kicked in your pocket.

I turn it off in the forest as well, I don't like being connected to people all the time, sometimes nature is better.

Obviously, I won't go swimming with it in my pocket: The most extreme I've ever done was place it in a Ziploc-type bag, in a backpack (bag failed twice, killing my phone the second time).

Other than that, I turn it off the rare few times I cross the border.

Well, when I walk down the road to the supermarket I don't bring my phone. I mean, what's the point? I'd only be able to get through 2 or 3 songs if I bought my phone and earphones with me

I very, very rarely ever go anywhere without my cellphone. I'd only ever leave it behind if I feel there's a genuine threat to it if I brought it with me.

When I work for freelance clients I tend to view my phone as a distraction and avoid using it. You know this to be true haha. Other then that I operate just the standard turning it off in cinemas/planes.

I feel somewhat lost without it.

Well its like putting your computer in sleep mode instead of turning it of , airplane mode turns off all incoming calls messages and so on, so I don't get disturbed when I am sleeping, but when I go up I dont have to turn it on and it have been charged to 100%

Just turn off airplane mode and its good to go no need to wait for it to start or something like that

but no, i dont go anywhere without my cellphone in case an emergency happens. Infact, I feel uncomfortable if i dont have my cell with me

What sparked this fear was when my vehicle just died at an intersection light, and I didnt have a cell phone on me cause I accidentally left it at the place I was previously at.

I don't use my phone when I'm hanging out with my friends. It's extremely annoying when you're all hanging out and one person can't get their face out of their screen.

I agree with this beyond belief. I've got that one friend that's on their cellphone nonstop the entire fucking time and it's annoying.
