What are your favorite card games?
I grew up playing Rummy, it's one of my favorites. I also love Egyptian Rat Screw (ERS), Uno, Slapjack, and Blackjack.

Cards Against Humanity, Crazy 8's, 52 Pickup, and Texas Holdem despite the fact I have no clue how to play Texas Holdem.

Ofc it counts. I also love that game.
Yugioh, cuz I'm a nerd :p
Cards against humanity, cuz I'm a perv :p
So true that it rhymes
I really like High-Low, though I also could go for the Pokemon TCG game.
Magic has been a favorite of mine for a long time, the original Digimon was pretty cool as well, but Magic reigns supreme for me.

Aw, high low is fun!
Magic: the Gathering, Texas Hold Em, Omaha, Blackjack, Gin Rummy; anything, really.
I'd rather die a Wolf fighting against the Herder, than die a Sheep heading for the slaughter.

I used to enjoy playing Palace, Rummy, Spades, and a ton of others when I was younger. Now I've forgot them all and only play Texas Hold'em.
Mao is the king of card games, but bullshit is always fun as a drinking game.

Bullshit is a great drinking game!
I play Yu-Gi-Oh, Cards Against Humanity, and a billion games played with a normal 52-card deck.
Specifically, Rummy, Mao, ERS (fuck that game though, my friend always beats me.), Speed, Poker, Bullshit, and BlackJack.
Edit: how could I forget about Capitalism and Palace? Shame on me.

i don't play cards for money, ever
i've never been in a casino and chances are i never will
i don't like poker
You can play cards for money, but treat it like an entertainment expense and don't expect to win any money and set your limits. As long as you play it smart like that you should be okay.
I've been in a casino. I won $5. Then I lost $20. It's okay because I stopped there. Where people get in trouble is where they just keep going in hopes of winning it back and more (and generally end up just digging themselves further into the pit)
I like Texas Hold 'Em-style poker.

Then you don't do it, for the same reasons you don't do other things you don't want to do.
Some people like mudding, dirt biking, skydiving, etc... If you don't want to do it you never have to.
Poker is pretty good. I've played others, but poker is still my favorite by far.
