Today is the deadline for the Mascot Jam, part four of our summer series of animation jams. Artists earn points in each round and a champion of animation will be announced at the end of the summer. Haven't participated yet? Join in for Round 5!

The Round 5 theme returns to our runner-up theme from last round, "Spooks & Creeps", suggested by @TheFabs and @SKillustration. Halloween is creeping up and it's time to make something SCARY! What you consider scary is totally up to you.

Rules:

Minimum 15 seconds of animation.

Tag your entry "CreepJam"

Content must be original; no characters you didn't create.

Music must be from the Audio Portal or an original piece by a teammate.

As lead animator, you may partner with background artists, in-betweeners, colorers, writers, voice actors, musicians and sound effects artists.
The lead animator is the one who earns points in each round of this event. Support members may work with multiple animators and change things up each round.

Due Date:

Monday, September 12th at 4PM EST.

This is the final round of our summer series of animation jams and you are welcome to join this round even if you missed the first four. The winner of each round gets 10pts, down to 1pt for tenth place. Not every animator makes it into every round so there is potential for things to move around as people come and go!

Round 1: Loop Jam (Winners)
Round 2: Robot Jam (Winners)
Round 3: Sound Jam (Winners)
Round 4: Mascot Jam

I don't like to harp on how important the success of this system is because I think it comes off as a downer, but damn, have you looked around lately? "Scary" theme. Hoo boy, this'll be tough for me. I don't really think of stories in a scary way. Still gotta try to come up with something though, looking forward to the entries on this one

Skulls are a supporter feature - looks like you don't have supporter status at the moment :(
