Refurbished phones

My LG G3 just decided to wreck itself and break my heart.
So I'm immediately replacing it and did a lot of research and decided on a Samsung Galaxy Note 4, because...well because the pen stylus has good pressure sensitivity, and it's actually just as good as the new LG G5.

Uh, so. It's like $250 refurbished+ unlocked and it says 'Certified Refurbished'
or it's $350 brand new, but not unlocked...strictly my carrier- Verizon.

I'll be with Verzion for at least 4 more months, so I guess that's not an issue.
However, I can't really find any info on Samsung's refurbished policies, so I'm hesitant to not just fork over the extra $100 for a guaranteed working phone.

Has anyone here ever had success with a refurbished phone?

Yes, it has a 90 day minimum warranty.

Then it'll probably be fine so long as you get it from a reputable distributor.

Just make sure to put it through its paces as soon as you get it.
