Are you in a high risk occupation? Do you smoke cigarettes and/or drink an excessive amount of alcohol? Are they high rates of heart disease or cancer in your family? Are you over 50?

Yeah my Pop said the same thing a few months before he died in a hospital room, which is a lousy place to die.

If you find you have something to accomplish every day, that alone will extend your years. Also a good bit of advice for folks who've just retired after punching a clock for 40+ years... once you have nothing structuring your life, what's the point of waking up the next day?
