There are definitely people who do evil things in the world and know that what they are doing is evil.
Those who do not learn from the mistakes of their past are doomed to repeat them.
I don't believe in people having inherent evil in them, but if people get on my bad side I will assume the absolute worst in them from then on.

"Evil" is a human concept. I prefer to use the terms foolish and egocentric.
