Tetris, Universally loved game 2016-08-03 01:53:28

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tetris

Tetris is the one game that is universally loved. Is there any other game that can compare?

Universally? No clue. If I had to guess, I would be something similarly classic, like Pong/Breakout, Pac-Man, etc.

Nope. It has been Americanized.

It's a pretty solid game for what it is. It's also the best selling game of all time.

It has been successful and enjoyed all over the world, and it is the best selling game of all time. No other game has crossed so many borders and languages so well.

Pac-Man could be close. It has been a fun game for a long time.

The original PC version of Tetris was one of the many first games that I ever played.

The last time I played it was in the 90s on a small, yellow monochrome CRT monitor.

Do you have a link for it? I am not familiar with that game.

Tetris is an old school game that many of us have played.

The last time I played it was in the 90s on a small, yellow monochrome CRT monitor.

Why didn't you play it on a gameboy. That is what all the cool kids did. lol

A GB would have been too expensive at the time for my poor, immigrant family.

Not to mention that someone could have probably stolen it at school.

That is a great The Legend of Zelda game.

As for my personal opinions on Tetris, it's a good game, but that's about it. I'm not a huge fan, but have no real issues with it. It's just not totally my thing.

It is a classic gameboy game, and can still be enjoyed today.

Where did your family come from?

That is true. I had a gameboy , but I only played it at home.

I never really cared all that much for Tetris. I liked Puyo Puyo more.

Only played Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine but I'm pretty sure it's the same thing. If it is, I totally agree.

Lumines is good, too.

They have Puyo Puyo Tetris now.

Taking something I enjoy and adding something I don't enjoy will make me enjoy it less.

I used to play Tetris for Gameboy Color. What a good times, plus my mother played it too and Pokémon. Oldschool gamer mom.

A game that can compare? I would say Space Invaders.

Tetris is the original, like Super Mario Bros. It may not have the best graphics or gameplay, but it is a classic.

You would think the two thing will cancel each other out, and be a neutral game.

Your mom sounds way cool. My mom would never play video games with me.

Space Invaders is a good arcade game. Did they ever make a handheld game version?

I don't know bro. I just know that it was for Atari and in the Arcade Machines. But my mom doesn't plays videogames anymore. She is part of the conspiracy theorists who think that Pokémon GO is destroying the world. Maybe she doesn't understands natural selection.
