EDM refers to not just techno, basically I'm referring to any of the genres listed under the Electronic tab on the audio portal (however there is some not listed like Future Bass, Trap, Hardstyle, etc.).

I don't really listen to EDM anymore, but if I were to choose it would be Savant. He can literally do any kind of genre perfectly, even if just once.

I don't think it's that overrated. You might hear it in the background of YouTube videos a lot because it'd be distracting to add vocals. Offline, I've never heard anyone mention it or play it, except for when I was getting my hair cut and they were playing a Trap radio station.
