You can still be an economic collectivist without being an authoritarian. Communism gets the bad rep from regimes that have tried to implement collectivism via coercion. I don't believe coercion is necessary to creating a communist society, in fact, I find it to be antithetical to the goals of communism. No economy should have to operate at the will of the state. Economies should function at the will of the individuals who choose to associate with collectives. There are Anarcho-Capitalists as well, who believe market forces should facilitate an economy.

Social democrat. I'm not as left as they come, but still quite left.
Though if greed and compulsion were completely out of the human equation, I would be an ardent supporter of Plato's republic system.
i'm more of an anarcho communist free market capitalist libertarian socialist myself

Because Stalin took everything communism stood for and raped it in the arse with a giant morningstar. There is in fact no state in a communistic society.
Myself, I'm sort of a disillusioned communist. I like the idea behind it, but I'm well versed enough in history to realize it'll never work in the real world.

Libertarian but if I wanted a form of government Minarchism or a merit based hierarchy (hierarchical meritocracy)
Those political spectrum tests always put me somewhere in the bottom (libertarian) left. Exactly where can be different from moment to moment, apparently, but it tends to be kinda far. No shame.
I guess nationalist but to be honest the only really nationalistic party in my country's pretty tame and reasonable so I'm not sure how other countries might classify it.

anarchism and marxism have been historically linked from the start
it's amazing that you're old enough to post on this forum, but not know that
You come off to me as that type of guy who thinks his words have more impact than they really do. It's quite sad.

You act like most adults have a fucking clue what they're talking about when it comes to this stuff. I live in America where, trust me, they don't.

Ditto.
Though I eschew the label of libertarian because there are so many kinds.
*sigh* libertarians.

Corbyn is reasonable and many Labour and even Liberal supporters are drawn by him -- however, after what happened in the referendum people are starting to think "where's the action beyond the words?" and are calling for his resignation. Too many dismayed people led to this knee-jerk reaction.
Now I personally would have Corbyn walk the walk in addition to talking the talk -- I would give him a chance to actually act upon his policies. The whole point of politics is that you act on your policies when you get a chance.
Seán, my fiancé, would know a thing or two about who else if not Corbyn, but it doesn't look particularly convincing to me as of yet. I mean, David and Ed Miliband are out of the equation altogether now, for example, and apart from Corbyn, I don't know who else sets off more than a good impression.

have never worked,
Even in authoritarian socialist states like the USSR there was immediate industrial growth and output. Since they lacked a secure market-based price system, they eventually ran their economy into the ground. However, to say that collectivist economics have never worked is a falsifiable claim.
