This proves that you don't need a gun to have a massacre, but that's besides the point.
Funny on when this happens, no one mentions that we should ban knives or any sharp objects outright, but when it happens with a gun, then people get all trigger-happy (no pun intended) on banning something that the vast majority of people use responsibly. Banning things outright never works and only punishes and handicaps the majority, while leaving the vast minority to their own violent devices. Furthermore, leave the 2nd amendment alone, no one with a brain is advocating repealing it, so stop talking about the red herring.
Now, gun control (as in realistic measures and not smokescreens for outright bans) is possible and I encourage that. Things like smaller magazines for the AR-15 and certain pistols, universal background checks and mandatory training and gun care classes, I'm certain that most people can get behind and would pass, though it seems like neither side wants to hear it because knee-jerk outrage based on fear and ignorance rules the day, and NG is no exception to this.
