i find iliza shlesinger, rachel feinstein, some sarah silverman, and the first female cast of snl to be funny, pretty much no women outside of that.

it's not sexist to not find women funny, the few women that are comedians, they tend to tell jokes for women. it's like how i don't like a lot of minority comedians, not because of their skin color but because i don't like a lot of racial humor, and that's where it tends to go.

this thread is funny. some dude doesn't find women funny, doesn't really say anything negative about women, he must be a sexist.

I had the same thought for so long but then I realised there are also a ton of men who try so hard to be funny. But then again I only see unfunny females in media but in real life I have a couple of female friends who have the spiciest memes I know.

Samantha Bee is funny. Her new show makes me laugh and she was good on the Daily Show. Jessica Jones is good on it, too (only current "correspondent" that's as good as her is Jordan Klepper). Broad City is pretty funny. Maria Bamford. Kristen Schaal. Also Garfunkle and Oates. Nikki Glaser is kinda funny sometimes. Oh yeah, someone said Sarah Silverman. She's pretty funny.

My ex was really funny when we first went out, because a lot of her humor was the same as mine, which was a dark quarky style. Then her humor got stale on as she kept on regurgitating the same thing over and over and over again.

Glad that shit's over.

Also, Subliminalvirus used to make me laugh my ass off on Steam. Then she got fucking stale as hell because she kept on telling me the same ol' shit I heard a million times.

I think she also co-produced her husband Jason Jones' show the Detour and that shit kills me. Those two were the best of the Daily Show cast during their time. I hope Jordan and Jessica don't leave unless people better than the others come along cuz Hassan, Roy, and the Asian dude are okay but not great. Actually, the blonde lady might be better than those three, thinking of those "what the actual fact" bits. I dunno. lol Mike Yard should quit the Nightly Show and join them.

Comedy is a set of associations linked to gender norms.

Women have a different set of associations that normally deal with emotions.

Its all relative so it depends on what you find to be comedy.
