A pal linked me this adorable piece which is the first piece of 'fan works' for Crying Data. They've achieved the impossible - Church can be cute. Trolloman_09 . Who unfortunately doesn't seem very active, hopefully he'll create other pieces in the future.

I'm what you would call a 'realistic manga artist'. I use realistic proportions over the traditional manga proportions yet keeping the face almost styled. I'm more influenced towards Eastern art than Western, so I know where you are coming from.

I want to say that this painting makes me feel like...there is depression, conflict, worry. Some sort of turmoil. I like it. I can't say for sure what kind of brushes your using. Layer mask, it has to be layer mask. Good to see back again so swiftly.
I'm glad you feel something towards it, as those are the emotions I'm going for! I'm just using a plain oil brush for this one at a 70% brush density - And all on one layer! No tinkering, just a quick mess of lines and splodges! Nice to be back a little more regularly! Thanks for dropping by, look forward to seeing more from you!

I've been asked why I haven't been taking part in this 'inktober/goretober' thingy whatsit - And as much as I love and support the idea I draw all day everyday anyway, and the thought of taking part makes my fingers ache! But like I said, I love the concept, I think it's a great source of encouragement for those that struggle to learn from a daily basis. So, I hope you're taking part and submitting some spooky stuff!
