When it comes to our art, we all have something that makes us stand out from one another. Whether it be our style, what we draw, or how we use our mediums. So I would like to know what do you think your "main forte" is when it comes to your work? I would mention mine, but I doubt it would be appropriate on this forum.

You didn't think dick and tits was appropriate to say on here? alot of the "adult" rated art on here is dick and tits, it's part of anatomy though so i don't really class pictures of genitalia or breasts as being solely sexual in nature, at which point you start seeing them as just parts of the body.

The whole sanic furry porn thing isnt my cup of tea...but artists come in all shapes and sizes too and i know that alot of people are into that stuff, so if thats your passion I can respect it.
If i had to answer your question, probably the coloring style I am developing, due to the limitations of binary art if I am to blend in a way that satisfies me I had to develop a different coloring style that ive yet seen no one else do in my very specific genre of art. Hatching with colors is the only way to blend colors in my medium without manually going in with a pixel art program and dithering them by hand. So far nobody else I know of who uses my medium does this, they all do generic cel shading,though @takopako is taking some tips from me and adapting my method into a diverging path/style.

Look, don't worry about it. Every one of us makes a faux pas every now and then. Shake it off, and move on.
I wind up asking for others about what exactly is special, and what exactly needs improvement, in a lot of my work. @Template88 has put it to me in the way of 'bold with colours', which I can definitely say for myself.
Thing is, some of us don't really know how to put ourselves out as special. But I guess the way a person draws a character or a background brings out the character. The way he draws a face. The way he puts everything together in a piece. A lot of these things, I cannot express in words. I think that's what leads people to say, "you've got to see it to see what's special." Sometimes, art can be critiqued negatively, and sometimes, you just don't know what to place...
I'm able to tell apart people's styles by a general trend in what they draw. @ThePsychoSheep has a general ghastly style with his work. @deathink shines with what looks like comic book artwork with helluva lot of detail. Some others are known for clean lines and imaginative characters. But I'm one of those people who find it really difficult, almost impossible, to tell what exactly makes me special, or what sets me apart from the rest.
Probably self-esteem issues. I don't know.

Just a tip, if you dont want people to hate you, you should cut the 'tude. If you are going to have a 'tude at least be less pompous about it, and more righteous.
I myself personally can't really point out something specific that I call my forte when it comes to illustration or art in general. My preference in subject matter and methods are usually a subject to change, depending on what kind of path would lead to more technical improvement. I try not to dwell on one spot for too long, especially considering the ever changing standards of the industry.
I prefer to look at art as another medium in telling narratives.
