HEYO! Just posting my wip for the beginners section of the Challenge. Any suggestion for the dragon (buildwise or colorwise? the cat is a mix of grays and oranges)

@snowtip2003: Cool designs! If you were to curve the tail, it would create a stronger line of action. Not sure but perhaps you could curve the dragon's back. Your call :) Hope this helps.

My first time attempting to enter one of Jazza's contests, and my first time, in a long time trying to draw something in photoshop. Obviously this is a WIP but heres hoping I actually finish this, I knew coming up with backgrounds was hard but I never imagined the struggle would be this difficult. I see better things created in my head but getting them to actually translate out of my hands is another thing entirely :p.

Hello everyone, this is my first post here and also the first time that I try digital art ^_^
I would like some feedback on my WIP!
I wanted to illustrate the theme in a more playful way, taking inspiration from the small fights that puppies and kittens have when they play. I drew inspiration form Disney's "The Fox and the Hound" and from my own puppies :D
I decided to go for a Japanese themed illustration, since I love East Asian dragons; the cat is going to be a Maneki Neko and the background a a Japanese garden.
Any criticism is extremely appreciated :)
(I apologize if there're any spelling or grammar mistakes, English is not my first language ^^")
WIP - Its ironic. I call it "The Kittens Den" :D The dragon is the innocent one, while the kitten is freaking terrefying. I'm unsure about the dragon. But i want it to be a baby dragon :D

I'm pulling out. I've hit a bit of a slump. I thought I could draw well; I can't. I feel I can't do anything right.
Here's my pre-digital WIP, hoping to smooth out the colors so it's not so eh. enjoy!
This is my first time entering Jazza's monthly contests. Haven't really done digital art but I'll have a go!
Hoping for three main layers to give the image DEPTH ;) also the dragon is semi-disney inspired but it's hard to tell.

We'll see... If it doesn't get finished, it doesn't get finished. It's just that I feel mediocre at best, however many times I do practise.
NOTE: This was meant to be a comic strip, a sort of parody of Cucumber Quest.

Hey everyone here's my wip. This is my second digital draw ever, still working on the silhouettes. Hopefully I can get this done it time. The title is Sekhmet and Seth sparing, just egyptians gods bored one afternoon and made a bet on who was better.

My WIP , not very good at digital art at the moment so gunna have to go traditional.
