I'm in a meme support group that meets once a week. We've all been emotionally crippled by memes in one way or another and while we may never be fully functional people it's nice to know that there are others who have suffered because of memes just like me.

Same way I deal with television commercials; Enjoy the good ones, ignore the shit ones, or simply get off of TV/Social Media.

It's meme overuse on facespace, instanttelegram, and twatter that's so annoying. Most pragmatic solution to this problem is to not be on them.

I don't really think about it. I don't post memes, but I don't hate them. Sometimes folks post memes and they are funny or useful in some way. Mostly it's just kids trying to get a laugh though, I think. They'll learn to be actually funny one day, or they won't, and I will probably care the same amount then as I do now.
