How do you help someone with depression who doesn't want help?
I have a friend, I have mentioned him before.
My friend Steve can be strange and sometimes obscene, but that doesn't change the fact that he is my friend and stuck by me more than all the others.
I might give him a little shit but I wouldn't trade him for the world.
Anyway.
Steve has Cerebral Palsy but he functions normally other than a gimpy arm and leg.
Tonight I went to the bar with Steve and he just wasn't himself.
Usually he's talkative and shooting the shit with all kinds of people.
Today he just ordered a pizza and drink.
I had ordered a burger and I ended up finishing it before Steve had two bites.
He then told me, "I can't eat lately but I want too."
He continued, "I lost about ten pounds last month."
Steve has been at odds with his parents a lot too now.
They won't let him drive, despite he having a license, along with them using his money from SSI.
He says he's just stressed, but I think there's more to it.
I don't know what to do.
Any ideas guys?
