So guys, I'm taking a game design course in College and so far it was the best idea for me to take that because now I got the motivation to create games again. During the past month the teacher introduced my class to game maker and during that month I slowly learning on how to make basic games without actually copy and pasting, and at the moment I'm developing my own platform game on game maker but the problem is, i'm using the lite version of it. Is it worth buying it for $149.99 or waiting for a steam sale to happen? Because again, I really want to get the full version of it but save money at the same time. Any opinions on this?
If you can wait, then wait for a sale or something. If not, then look for cheaper similar tools, or splunk out the money. There's a third option, but "nobody" likes that.
