This hasn't been confirmed yet, so take this information with a grain of salt since this'll either be confirmed or disconfirmed on Friday.

And now it's 100% confirmed:

Another new Pokemon has been revealed. It's a Fire/Dragon turtle named Turtonator with the ability Shell Armor and a signature move called Shell Trap.

When I catch this Pokemon I'm naming it Bowser.

Why doesn't it have rough skin?? I mean it must hurt hitting that spiky shell doesn't it? Spiky shield must also be taken in consideration or maybe that'll make him OP. idk

Maybe rough Skin is its Hidden Ability or something. Also, its interesting to note that Pokemon Bowser attacks with its back turned towards the opponent because its weak spot in on its chest. That weak spot is actually an exhaust port for the explosions it creates since the Bowser Pokemon's powers is based on a land mine, so anyone who steps on its back while its camouflaged is in for a nasty surprise. As for why the Bowser Pokemon's face looks ugly, it's because the species of turtle the thing is based on is this:

All jokes aside I think "Bowser" will be pretty good in competitive use, just like most of the pokemon they've introduced recently. I think this generation might be more focused on competitive battling considering they'll make IV training easier from what I've heard.

Another good nickname for this Bowser Pokemon is Gamera, considering that some Pokemon designs are inspired by kaiju, such as Tyranitar is based on Godzilla and Hydreigon is based on King Ghidorah.

A new Pokemon and the English names of three others has been revealed.

Nuikoguma is called Stufful.

Sunabaa and Shirodesuna are called Sandygast and Palossand respectively. Their Water Compaction ability sharply increases their defense every time they get hit with a Water-type move.

Crabrawler is a Fighting-type crustacean with the abilities Hyper Cutter and Iron Fist.

New footage has come out.

It turns out that there's a sidequest in which you get paid for throwing Pyukumuku back into the ocean after collecting them on the beach. This is a call back to what description for Pyukumuku on the official website says about its relationship to the Alola natives.

It's been confirmed that specific Pokemon have their own Z-Moves.

Alolan Rattata has been revealed, and is Dark/Normal. The official description for Alolan Rattata confirms the existance of Alolan Raticate. Here's the official description:

Unlike ordinary Rattata, urban areas are Alolan Rattata’s main habitat. They are nocturnal and live in nests of several dozen. Alolan Rattata have an excellent aptitude for sniffing out delicious fresh foods in Alola. They pay no attention to foods that aren’t fresh. Alolan Raticate serve as their boss.

The distribution event for the Munchlax that holds the Snorlium Z for Snorlax's Z-Move begins on November 18 and ends January 11.

Apparently just like in Pokemon RSE & ORAS there are two teams that oppose each other. The key difference is that one of them is clearly evil while the other one is on the side of good (for now it seems). We also finally have a female team leader in a main series game.

Alolan Raticate has been revealed. It's fatter than a normal Raticate due to its urban diet.

Zygarde is confirmed to be related to the plot since you can collect Zygarde Cells and Cores with the Zygarde Cube that's given to you by Sinia and Dexio who seem to be on vacation from the Kalos region.

A new manmade Pokemon called Type: Null has been revealed, and it's a Normal type.

A new Pokemon called Jangmo-o has been revealed, and it's a Dragon type.

Some kind of Pokemon or creature has been revealed, and they're known as Ultra Beasts. They are referred to as a threat for some reason. The first one that's been revealed is some sort of jellyfish-like creature called UB-01.

Also, a feature similar to Pokemon Snap has been revealed. I personally don't find the concept of Pokemon Snap fun, but to each his own opinion.

Forgot the mention that Pokemon Moon is set 12 hours after the 3DS internal clock.

The good Pokemon team, The Aether Foundation, may be the Pokemon equivalent to the SCP Foundation with the Ultra Beasts as the Pokemon equivalents to the SCPs themselves. Even if this doesn't turn out to be the case, it'll still make for an awesome fanfic to read/watch.

I've updated my potential Sun & Moon Pokemon team into two categories, which are Gen 7 and Alolan Form. This wasn't easy to make since I like all of the new Pokemon and forms so far:

Gen 7 Team

Popplio
Salandit
Lurantis
Wishiwashi
Crabrawler
Jangmo-o

Alolan Form Team

Alolan Ninetales
Alolan Marowak
Alolan Raichu
Alolan Raticate
Alolan Sandslash
Alolan Exeggutor

A Japanese trailer that was released today reveals what appears to be Professor Oak with very tanned skin. It may either be that real deal decided to move to Alola and lived there long enough that his skin became tanned, or it's a relative of his.

All that's known from the trailer is that his name is Oak and that he looks similar to Professor Oak.

It's been confirmed that he's Professor Oak's cousin. His full English name is Samson Oak and he seems to be the expert on the Alola Forms, which is fitting since he basically looks like the Alola Form of Professor Oak and that all of the Alolan Forms so far are from the first generation.

Forgot to mention that Cutiefly's evolution has been leaked in a trailer, but there's no information on it other than it's appearance: http://www.serebii.net/sunmoon/cutieflyevo.jpg

This month's CoroCoro images has leaked.

Rockruff's evolution is called Lugarugan and it has a Midday Form and a Midnight Form, so the rumors of Rockruff evolving into some sort of werewolf turn out to be true. If Rockruff evolves at daytime, it'll have the Midday Form, but if it evolves at nighttime, it'll have the Midnight form.

Two new Ultra Beasts have been revealed. They are UB-02 Beauty and UB-02 Expansion. They are version exclusives since the scan shows UB-02 Beauty facing off with Tapu Koko in Pokemon Moon and UB-02 Expansion facing off with Tapu Koko in Pokemon Sun.

English Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m8lfI66T5II

The trainer customization from X&Y returns. The new version of the Poke-Amie is showcased as well.

Pikachu and Eevee have their own Z-Moves. Eevee's seems to be the only Z-Move that isn't an attack move but a stat-raising move.

A Pokemon Sun-exclusive Pokemon named Passimian has been revealed. It's basically a football-playing Fighting-type lemur, and its ability is Receiver.

A Pokemon Moon-exclusive Pokemon named Oranguru has been revealed. It's a Normal/Psychic orangutan with the abilities Inner Focus and Telepathy.

Lugarugan's English name is Lycanroc. Both its Midday and Midnight Forms are pure Rock types. They also seem to be version exclusives, with Midday in Sun and Midnight in Moon.

Prior to and on the release of virtual consoles versions of Red, Blue and Yellow, not that I know of.

Yesterday I found out that following information about Pokemon Bank regarding Pokemon Sun & Moon:

~ Pokemon Bank won't be compatible with Red, Blue and Yellow and Sun and Moon until the January 2017 patch.

~ Pokemon transferred from a 6th generation game to a 7th generation game cannot return to a 6th generation game.

~ Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow are available via the Poké Transporter.

~ Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow are not compatible with the 6th generation games.

~ The January 2017 patch will add a Pokedex to Pokemon Bank.

Two new 3DS themes are to be released today.

The first one is "Pokémon: A Sinister Organization—Team Rocket", which features the Team Rocket Hideout theme from Red and Blue: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yiT6VFNm9eU

The second one is "Pokémon: A Sinister Organization—Team Galactic", which features the Team Galactic Commander theme: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U0CnIbKR2zI

The first-stage evolutions of the starters have been revealed!

It's been confirmed that Mega-Evolution is available via the Z-Rings.

The Sun and Moon demo will be released October 18, and you can use Ash-Greninja in the demo and eventually transfer it to the main games once they're released.

I was getting ready to leave for college when I made this post, so I couldn't exactly truly express my thoughts at the time. Now that I'm back and have plenty of free time....

The designs of the first-stage starter evolutions are making this supposed leaked image of the final evolutions look more legit.

I doubt that Rowlett's final evolution will gain a new type, so Rowlett's final evolution is most likely Grass/Flying.

The personality of Torracat means that Litten's final evolution would either be pure Fire, Fire/Fighting, or Fire/Dark.

Based on the clown/singer theme that Popplio's evolution line seems to have, Popplio's final evolution would either be pure Water, Water/Psychic, or Water/Fairy.

I personally wouldn't mind another Fire/Fighting Pokemon as long as it has good stats and is fun to use in gameplay. The same goes to any new Pokemon that has the same type as an older Pokemon. I admit that if we get another Fire/Fighting starter this generation instead of a new type combination it'll be somewhat disappointing, but I'm not one to raise a ruckus over such trivial things like that.

Anyways as a heads-up the U.S. Volcanion distribution event is going to be held at GameStop stores October 10 to October 31.

Definitely going to get Moon the day it's released. I'll save Sun for Christmas.

I don't think these leaked evos are real, because some major features like dartrix' beak and hair and torracat's longer hair are not to be seen in the leaked evos. Of course the loss of features is possible considering it already happened with other evos like wartortle who lost it's wings and tail, but I'm still not convinced they're real. Also fire/fighting would be inefficient for torracat's evo considering the two other pokemon would both have something to hit it with. And pokemon showed us all their creativity with the original pokemon abillities, typings and stuff so why would they choose a typing that has been chosen 3 times already for a starter.

Admittedly I'm choosing Popplio for two reasons:

1.) It's the starter that receives the most hate, so I feel sympathy for it.

2.) If its leaked final evolution is real, then I'm getting a female Popplio.

Speaking of the final evolutions, I have a feeling that they'll be officially revealed by the time the Sun & Moon demo is released, which is October 18. It's highly likely that you'll be able to use the starter Pokemon in the demo, so it'll be odd if the final starter evolutions aren't revealed by then since you could just keep level-grinding the starters until they reach their final evolutions.

I got Volcanion, maxed out its affection in Poke-Amie, gave it the Pokerus, and maxed out its base stats with HP Ups, Proteins, Irons, Calciums, Zincs, and Carbos (I prefer using these items over Super Training). I haven't leveled it up yet because I figured that it'll be more fun to transfer it to Sun & Moon and level it up in the Alola region because the tropical setting is perfect for a Fire/Water Pokemon like Volcanion.

The first image from CoroCoro has been leaked.

Alolan Grimer is Poison/Dark:
http://www.serebii.net/corocoro11161.jpg

The same source that leaked that image also has more information from CoroCoro, but since there are currently no pictures yet the following is unconfirmed:

~Jangmo-o's evolutions are Jarango and Jararanga, and becomes a Dragon/Fighting-type

~Type: Null evolves into Shiruvadi. Shiruvadi's ability is AR System which changes its type based on the hold item, effectively making Shiruvadi a weaker alternative to Arceus.

Jarango and Jararanga are both Dragon/Fighting.

Shiruvadi is literally Type: Null without the helmet. Here's the description for it:

This Pokémon evolves after it has found a trainer it trusts, causing it to destroy its mask. Due to its ability, it can hold a Memory item and become 1 of all 18 types.

And just like Arceus, its signature move changes type based on its held item. The new move Multi Attack is likely weaker than Judgement.

Silvadi's English name is Silvally and just like Arceus parts of its body can change color to match its type (i.e., tail, head-fins, and eye color). Its ability in English is RKS System and its unique held items are functionally identical to Arceus' plates in that there's on for each type.

Jarango & Jararanga's English names are Hakamo-o and Kommo-o.

Bounsweet's evolutions are Steenee and Tsareena, which are both Grass types. Just like Bruxfish Tsareena's Queenly Majesty ability negates priority moves.

Cutiefly's evolution is Ribombee and its a Bug/Fairy.

Alolan Muk is Poison/Dark just like Alolan Grimer.
