I've been wondering this for a while.
What Newgrounds songs do you view as classic? Like, the song was always popular for as long as you can remember, and is still popular today.
Basically, what songs are inherently Newgrounds?

From the top of my head:
When you say Newgrounds, you say all the above.

I could have guessed a few of those... I mean, it's not like there's a bunch on the front page of audio or anything...
Thanks though!
Anyone else have any others?

There's a section of the Audio homepage that says "High Ranking Classics". You can probably head there to find some. :)

I've done that many a time but it's hard to determine what's Newgrounds gold from what's overused in GD.
Sure, some are both but how can I tell...
From oldest to newest. The first one was top ranks for a long time here.
OH GOD SO MANY
THANKS THOUGH

I never would have been able to tell with this one as there is a very famous GD level using it as well... GD changed Newgrounds a bit too much, imo. (80% of songs in popular audio are popular because of it... it's kinda sad.)
I'm surprised no one has said Kevin MacLeod.
Now while I'm not aware of him having a Newgrounds account, yet his music is often a very popular choice for inclusion in just literally *tons* of Newgrounds games. I would say "Being featured in more Newgrounds games than any other artist" definitely counts as Newgrounds songs, no?
It's really mellow stuff mostly. Not the kind of music I'd likely choose to listen to by itself, but it goes okay as ambiance in games, and he's generous enough to offer it up royalty-free as far as I understand. Good man.
Surprised that nobody has mentioned this one
First thing that came to my mind (after ParagonX9 :p).
I've always considered this one a classic, and i don't think anyone has said it here before...

I get the feeling that this one is only well-known because of the Impossible Game. I've never known it as anything else.
MOST DEFINITELY... This.
: AHEM, check out my music from 2009. *cough cough cough* ahem it's not even good. *cough*

If I made a 16-bit version, would it be twice as classic because it had twice the bits?
