That sounds like a small but cool group of musicians. Any recommendations?

Wardruna is a good music group. There are just so many I love to listen to, I can't even list all of them. :)

Helvegen is a good song.

It gives me the feeling of entering a battle, fighting the battle, and then the last minute of very calming vocals and rain sounds like the end of said battle which I imagine as a bloody one.

It is, and so is Solringen. Listen to Faun, Corvus Corax, and Poeta Magica. They're really good. :)
Oh hell yeah. Definitely sounds like something I would be willing to give a listen. Have you tried looking up Pagan folk music? Listen to this masterpiece!

No, but I've heard of Arkona, Butterfly Temple, Alkonost, Leshak, Fferyllt, and Wolfmare.
Not sure if it's quite Viking, but Garmarna is really cool.

Korpiklaani is Folk. Folk Metal to be exact. Bathory is Black Metal. :)

Ah. But for the album I linked to (Twilight of the Gods) Quorthon was playing VIKING Metal. Which technically isn't a genre if you want to be really anal about it. But still. And I just realized that that album is 25 years old this year. Fuck. It doesn't feel like it's that old. And I don't want to think that Quorthon has been dead for 12 years now.
I prefer military march music.'Specially American and British march music

Lots of great musicians, great comedians, great actors, great scientists, great artists, and just all-around greats are dead.
Of course, it's a mindset. You don't have to think of them as dead as long as they live on in memory, right? Some cultures view the world as illusion. They call this Maya, (not to be confused with the ancient Mayan civilization of the same name).

Yeah I know. And a few of the (arguably) greatest musicians and actors died recently.
Lemmy, David Bowie, Alan Rickman, Glenn Frey, Jason Wingreen (fucking Boba Fett in The Empire Strikes Back and was also in The Dunwich Horror and Airplane! As well as in an episode or two of: Twilight Zone, Outer Limits, Bonanza, The Man From U.N.C.L.E., The Green Hornet, Star Trek, etc).
I always thought that that genre of music sounded cool, especially Celtic music with a strong fiddle and Irish flutes

It's a good music genre.

Nighwish and Epica make folk metal sometime.
True.
@Tacticat, I didn't know that. Apparently, I like both. Not even picking my own battles about this.
