Funny, I was just talking about how upset I am that my school blocks NG's ads. I have adblock disabled for NG and CPMstar specifically, since I can't afford even a few dollars toward this great site until I finish off school bills and get employed, or until grant refunds come in. I've got a few dollars to my name at best.

My friends say the site is lagging behind other giants, that flash is in decline, etc. Lots of people have been bringing up in the same breath that we would do well to cash in on the mobile market and support live action video, though the majority of viewerbase I've seen seems somewhat averse to the latter.

I'm curious. Are there any plans for Flash, Audio, or Art Portal apps? NG can be cumbersome to browse on mobile, and I've seen a lot of attempts at an Audio Portal App by users, as well as stuff like NG Radio. And what about better Twitter/Facebook integration? Soundcloud players integrate practically seamlessly into twitter and generate a lot of hits. If we could integrate NG AP player embeds into tweets or FB shares as well as we can in Tumblr posts, that'd be a boon for traffic, I'm sure.

It wasn't just my favorite flash game site, it was my second home. Many afternoons i spent playing and i just wanted newgrounds to know that i loved every day of it. Nice to see. I'd chip in myself just for the things listed in the perks, but ongoing charges scare me and I hate using payment methods other than Amazon's, so I'll stick with leaving my ad blocker switched off for this site.

Funny how Wade acted like ad blockers don't exist back when there weren't any perks, though. I resisted the temptation to switch it on after seeing that kind of naivete in the reply he gave people, but wondered how many others did.

I'm agreeing with this. I'm sure a fair few amount of users aren't really fans of Facebook/Twitter but the vast majority of content creators do use them (along with websites such as Soundclound) as tools for publicity, so helping them, naturally, helps the website.
