Was there predictions or warnings of 9/11 in the media?

Here are some useful links:

And many, many more.

Call it coincidence, but 9/11 is a very mysterious and shrouded event with hundreds of theories surrounding it, what do you think happened with 9/11?

1. take an ordinary calendar
2. turn to the "September" page
3. count eleven squares in from the top-left corner
4. notice anything? that's right: the date is September 11th
5. oooooooo

Woah... Never noticed that, did they have calendars before 2001? If they did, they should have known sooner. Clear warning.

Then you realize that the twin towers have been a common target for terrorist even before 9/11, and Osama was already well known to the US right?

One common misconception is that 9/11 changed things. The reality is that the factors that led to the attack existed well before the actual attack, and all the attack really did was make the general public aware of a preexisting reality; and that put pressure politicians to actually respond to it instead of sweeping it all under a carpet for their political convenience.

Some of these "predictions" have some substance while others are just major flukes and problematic coincidence. You see, the twin towers of New York were famous land marks in the country of America, so you can't blame American cartoons and media having a small reference to the World trade center being attacked or destroyed.

If the white house were to be bombed everyone would say movies such as 'White house down' and 'Independence day' were sure warnings of it's destruction. Just think if 9/11 never happened. None of the media or cartoon "predictions" would have any relevance at all, other than mere unimportant occurrences.

I'm just saying, there isn't really a lot of consistency to this evidence, it all just seems like brittle paranoia, all because a channel nine news microphone is positioned next to an channel eleven microphone, it means they were trying to warn us.

There is one thing the media is good for: creating hysteria and turning the masses against each other.

I've heard tons of things that seemed to reference 911 before the fact. It's some logical fallacy I can't quite name. It's just the idea that enough predictions you make, chances are at least some of them will come true. I'm sure if some other famous building had been destroyed, we'd see that too. Still, it is interesting how spot on some were. Why weren't there any psychics who did this?

You should have made this thread 10-14 years ago. Old news.

The earliest prediction of 9/11 was made by Nostradamus, "When the twin brothers in the new city in the new world fall, the inhabitants of the new world will go mad and never recover."

Almost every printed copy of Nostradamus' work was translated quite badly (from French to English, and not from Gaulish to English). No wonder the phrase "print is dead" originated last century |:
