Will this make other games better, or just make Assassin's Creed worse?
So it'll essentially be another open world game? Maybe they'll toss in parkour style climbing mechanics and so on.

EA has made many mistakes in the past.
Assassin's Creed was good when it was an unique game. If its style is overused, than it will lose all its charm.
EA messed up all of stuff in the past and to be honest I never did like Assassins creed but let's see how this one turns out.

I loved 1, 2, and BH, but after that they started becoming obsessed with their own cannon they started to feel generic and meaningless.
The only other one worth a play is blackflag.

My bad,I meant EA messed up a lot of other games in the past.
I tried Assassins creed and Assassins creed brotherhood.
I only ever played the original Assassins Creed and the only real gripe I had with it was the control being so fucking crippled that I just couldn't deal with it. Since then I haven't played any simply because I never had one.
Change is inevitable, all you can do is make sure it happens in your favor.

I didn't get into the 1st one, but I did really like 2 and brotherhood a lot. Same with Black Flag because that was a nice change. I kind of liked Rogue as well, but it felt like they just tossed that one out there because they felt they needed to appeal to last gen one last time.
