*RETARD ALERT*
I don't want to actually have to build it. Not because i'm lazy but I don't have knowledge about the inside parts so i'd rather not go rooting around in there. I'll end up with the damn house on fire. I want it delivered to my door ready to unbox and plug in.

Watch some videos and read some guides and you'll get it in no time.

At this very second, you have more knowledge at your fingertips than you can comprehend, right now while you're reading this, you could push a button, and have every piece of knowledge about PC hardware and software on your screen, and you're saying "I don't have knowledge about the inside parts"?

You're looking at knowledge about me right now if you didn't see it.

Avery. You are not retarded enough to not know that you need to touch a metal object before putting computer pieces together, right?

Okay fine, i'll look into it.

QFT. It really isn't hard to build it either. It's like Legos. You just plug some parts together and stick them in a case. Really not hard at all.

Fuck now i'm really confused.
It'll say GTX 980 $800 with a i5 processor and they'll say it's advanced. And then there will be a GTX 760 and a 17 processor and it's cheaper. I'm just using examples but I don't know what to choose from. I don't even know what some of the parts are.

A GTX-760 is a lower level card than a 980. The one you'll need all depends on what kind of stuff you plan on doing with your rig. A GTX-760 will probably suffice if you're running most games in 1080p. If you want to run shit in 4k you'll probably want the 980. An i5 is probably still more than enough for most gaming needs. You don't really need an i7... at least not yet anyway.

You can probably buy the parts separately and build a rig like that yourself for significantly less money. I also don't really understand the point of having a wireless adapter on a stationary desktop. You'll want to be using ethernet for something like that. Wifi offers lower network performance and lower security, and is basically useless when using with a machine that doesn't go anywhere.

What an unbalanced computer. It has an i7 CPU and a GeForce 940M video card. Please don't buy a gaming laptop. Build a good desktop and get a cheap used laptop on eBay to play old games or for emulation away from home. It will be a lot better to have a strong desktop and a weak laptop than to only have a weak laptop.

Everything you could possibly want for just under $1000. Amazon is not difficult to use.

Processor 4th Generation Intel Core i7-4790 processor (8M Cache, up to 3.2 GHz)
Operating System Windows 8.1 (64Bit) English
Memory 12GB Dual Channel DDR3 1600MHz - 4 DIMMs
Video Graphics NVIDIA GeForce GT 720 1GB DDR3
Hard Drive 1TB SATA 6Gb/s,7200RPM

Only thing that seems fishy about this is that the warranty is only a year but I assume this is only because it's discontinued and is thus difficult to replace.

If I offer to help you in a post, PM me to get it. I often forget to revisit threads.

Can I turn a HP pavillion s5 1224 into a gaming pc of I buy a new graphics card and a processor? I'd rather do that than anything.

Because if you wanna get shit done you spend a respectable amount of money on really good stuff

imagine the high definition on that damn thing...I mean like 8 gigabytes wow.

Here's one that a father built for his daughter. How's this? And what setting will games run. Like GTAV and Steam games?

Do you have to stick to that $1,000 budget? If you could drop a little bit more on one, then you could go for this. I'll be upgrading to one of these bad boys in January/February when they arrive in Australia. Acer Predator G6. The link is totally safe. I'm not a cunt.

If not just get your hands on any of the Predator series. They are awesome.

Nice way to dodge the fact that you're an awful person who I hope catches syphilis

Lmao. Nice way to dodge the fact that you derailed someone else's thread and turned it into your own personal outlet for all of your pent-up teen angst.

It's funny that you're even in this thread trying to give someone advice on setting up a gaming rig when just a few months ago you made a thread asking for help with the same thing. You're a novice, kid. You don't know jack about computers. Run along.
