sarcastic animation jam!

hey you and you too,

want to jam? well i got one for you. the sarcastic animation jam, happening as of now. animators, you have from now until 11:59:59 est on sunday to make a kickass animation using at least two out of these three elements:

- prop: a fish bowl
- location: a place with a broken window
- line of dialogue: “she’s not my _____”

these are simply meant to make sure the piece was made in the timeframe and do not need to be the focus of the piece.

technical rules:
- deadline is 11:59:59 est
- films must contain at least 2 out of 3 required elements
- one animator per team. you can bring on voice actors, musicians, background artists, writers, interns, and whatever else you might need, though
- no minimum length, but judges probs aren’t gonna pick a two second short to win
- no maximum lengths, but i can’t guarantee that the judges are going to sit through a 30 minute animation
- general newgrounds standard for content. if it doesn’t get blammed and tom doesn’t pull it from the site, you’re in
- gotta be submitted to newgrounds, either portal or dumping grounds
- post your final animation here so i can find it and send it over to the judges
- tag your work with sarcasticjam2015

prizes:
- 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place as chosen by the judges will all receive a pair of hikarian’s awesome drawing gloves as well as newgrounds supporter status!
- audience choice: the highest scoring piece will receive 50 bucks (only applicable to pieces submitted to the portal before the deadline)

mostly because that's what it's always been called. it's grown less sarcastic over the years, but the heart is still there.
