Welcome to my art thread. I'm constantly trying to improve, so any constructive criticism is appreciated. I have trouble finishing my artwork so I thought an art thread would help me stay motivated.
Here is a sketch of an airman skydiving with a dog.

I'm seeing some complicated stuff here, so let me give you a tip that will really make your pictures awsome.
You need more contrast in your drawings, everything is washed out in the same tone of grey, that means using darker mediums, try getting a set of drawing pencils and getting a wider range of light/dark tones. The darker your shadows the bolder your drawings will look. Dont be afraid to completely black out shadows, it makes for a really dramatic look.
Use gradients going from the white of your paper to pure black to define your shapes and give them a ton of depth.
Another tip i found useful with pencils is to use a paper or a tissue on your hand while you are resting it on the drawing surface to avoid smudges.
