Today is October 1st, what games will you play to get you into the Halloween mood?
I will play the NES Castlevania series. How about you?

The closest thing I have to a horror game is the original Bioshock, so I'll probably play both that and 2.
As for flash games, I'll play this again, since I play it every Halloween. I'll probably also watch the first 2 Underworld movies.

The original NES version? It can be a challenge to get the true ending.
Probably gonna be playing Calm Time......that small indie game where you play as a serial killer and then after that..I don't know.
Give me your soul!

Never heard of that game. How is it?

It's just a small indie game where you invite guests to your house and then kill them while they hide in places and stuff. Similar to Friday the 13th and all these horror movies.
Give me your soul!
A truly prophetic sig...
Costume Quest
Overload
Alice: Madness Returns
The Adams Family (SNES/GEN)
Darksiders
Death Jr. (Wii/PSP)
I'm still inside Phantom Pain so I dunno if I'm going to play anything else this October. Besides I don't have any Halloween games and survival horrors don't count. Maybe I'm going to play Kingdom Hearts and pay Jack a visit.

It sounds okay. I do not play many indie games.
Most of the doom games except Doom 3 because I don't have a mouse
Undertale
The Splatterhouse series would be great to play for howloween
I know one of the games in sam and max season 2 have a light horror theme in it.
and whatever else I can run on the computer.
Good chance for me to finally play that copy of Clock Tower I have for PS1. Don't feel like I play many games at all these days though so wouldn't be surprised if I don't :(

The SNES classic. That game has an amazing sound track.
I can't really think of anything specific to play..
Any suggestions?

Are you too busy to play video games, or just not in the mood?

Bit of both really. I have plenty of time outside of work to be playing game, but I just never feel like I do. Too many things are wanting my attention and I usually prefer to just watch something rather than play video games.

Sorry to hear that. It would be a dark day if that ever happened to me.

yeah it's just not the same experience as you were to play it yourself or with friends, such excitement can't be replicated just by watching someone else.
...I seem to have forgotten about 7 days a skeptic and 5 days a stranger.

I worded that badly. I didn't mean I watch Lets Plays, I meant that I'd rather watch a film or something these days instead of spending that time playing video games.

Yeah you can just get the jist of a movie in a short period of time without having to worry about what time constraints you have and ofcourse reading can lead more to imagination and creative thinking. I don't really even follow a good time for a time waster ,it just comes whenever it's available.

Watching somebody else play is passive. I would rather be active and play the game myself.

That's a pretty hard game to master.

If it really had to be from someone in particular they had to bring something different to the table that I haven't seen from others.
Resident Evil 1 got re released a while back on the PS store, so i'll probably replay that.
I got Tom to make a sig, bow down to me.

Any game that you have to beat twice can be a challenge.
Hmm, I'll probably try Organ Trail again. Either that, or I'll find some new horror game to play.

Halloween games usually involve horror, so you are on the right trail.
