How the hell can you have that afro guy seriously say he loves that awful woman? She should have gotten eaten. Also unexpected Hokuto Shinken. When he said "I am already dead" I yelled "I knew he'd say that". For a minute I scoffed at the bald guy being alive at the end and thought it was a cop out. But then I remembered the scene with the doctor and realized he thinks he's a zombie because he's such a hypochondriac just like with the "cancer" and I decided it was justified cuz that's pretty funny.

Watched The Lazarus Effect today. Not an awful movie, but it could have done so much more with its premise.

Watched Event Horizon. Saw a few deleted scenes too... and I heard there were worse. Is it wrong that I want to see them?

Anyway, pretty good 'haunted house in space' film. Some really great lines too.

Two days ago I had watched Amigo Undead and Depraved Decadence , I don't know who does the puppetry in Full Moon Pictures but the movement and motion are almost life like in the Puppet master series.

Watched 2015's RoboShark today. IT WAS DUMB. The End.

Last night was 1945s "the flying serpent" a crazed archeologist uses an Aztec beast to destroy all in his path and a mystery novelist is sent to stop him. If this is what Castle was Castle might not suck.

Just now I finished Beast of Haunted Cave. 1959. Bank robbers holed up in a mountain cabin are slowly picked off by a vaugly spider like thingy. Also better than Castle.

Missed a day. Watched Children of the Corn I and II. Linda Hamilton was in it. What a mind blower. Part II was a pretty big case of diminishing returns.

Going for the movies with a 2 1/2 score There's just got to be some guranteed campyness out of them.

I'm only 40 minutes in but I'm Currently enjoying Dracula vs Frankenstein from 1971, It's really a product of it's time ,has the right elements to be a so bad it's good flick. I have to say though that the Frankenstien that got for this movie is really ugly the creature's face is so lumpy.

Last night "the undying monster" a decent enough 1942 werewolf curse movie.

Today I was lazy. "The cabin in the woods" a good movie but a little in love with its own cleverness. Maybe it's that I'm firmly entrenched in my 30s but the whole forced "institutialized evil" thing seemed forced. They are literally throwing 4 lives in front of billions. Not seeing the duality. Does human sacrifice suck? Yes. Give me a better option.

Zombie Decadence is a awful zombie movie,thank goodness it's only one hour and 14 minutes because it's cringe worthy and I try to keep a open mind ..

Watched 2011's The Awakening tonight. Really good classic "ghost story" kind of a movie. Gave me the same feelings I had when I watched 2001's The Others.

Watched Flight of the Dead: Outbreak on a Plane. Not too bad, just a little... derivative. But then, what work isn't? Still, felt it was a little too close to Snakes on a Plane, minus the intent of releasing the zombies.

I've been watching too much 50's stuff. I know I've seen a movie about a guy giving his sister injections that turn her into a killer gorilla but I'm not sure I've seen this one.

And here were the other 3 after that I watched last night The first two were Shlock but the last one has some good suspense.

A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge is a really bad sequel to the original Nightmare movie and really proves how much this franchise needed Wed Craven at its helm. You really don't need to see this one.

Two Evil Eyes (1990)

Not bad. I guess it was originally going to be a TV series which didn't work out and just became an anthology type movie, but with only two segments. Seems Argento's part is more popular. I dunno if I agree with that or not.

Yeah. Although the bit with Freddy coming out of him was kinda cool. Dream Warriors, which came after, was definitely better. Still not great, but the second is the worst one, I think, while Dream Warriors is third best behind the original and New Nightmare.

23 out of 31 isn't to bad.

Oh yeah. I'm really trying an analyze what gets something remembered in this way. Doing this theme I've seen both things that were way cheeseier than the likes of Robot Monster and a lot of stuff that's legitimately good.
My favorite from that batch has to be "the giant gila monster" because it's such a disection of the tropes of the time. For most of the movie the monster isn't shown relating to anything. It's just footage of a gila monster hanging out. And I like that the small town sheriff actually likes the local youngsters, who are indeed good kids. It has a quote I plan to use in my life. "Buying a car is like getting married or going to New York City. Everyone should do I once. No one should do it twice."

But enough ruminting. It turns out I had seen that gorilla girl movie so I found some 80s cheese free on demand. 1988s scarecrows. Paramilitary robbers parachute into remote farmland and are picked off by never explained sentient scarecrows. Enjoyable trash.

Gotta agree with you there. If I recall right, the lead in that role, "the teenager" not Freddy, had all the charisma of a 2X4.

Watched Let the right one in. The original version. I've never minded watching subtitled things myself, though I can understand why people want to watch dubs. A nice take on vampires anyway, enjoyed it quite a bit.
