I've decided to go ahead and open up to a generally rough crowd of people concerning a "condition" that I've had to live with my whole life.

I have bunions. Which basically means that without a very expensive and painful operation, calcium deposits will push my big toe so far out of alignment that something as simple as WALKING, WHICH YOU PEOPLE TAKE SO MUCH FOR GRANTED, will no longer be possible for me...

I'm pretty sure they have specialized footwear designed to significantly reduce or even totally eliminate the discomfort of walking with bunions. I don't have bunions myself, but I can somewhat relate to you since I have some pretty large and wide feet which makes wearing regular footwear extremely uncomfortable for me.

If you don't already have some, consider buying a pair of shoes that are better suited to the size and shape of your feet. It used to be pretty painful for me to walk in my old size 12's, but walking has never felt so comfortable since I got this new pair of size 12 Wides. These are quite possibly the most comfortable pair of shoes I've ever worn. They're really durable and have excellent traction also. I'd highly recommend getting a pair of these, especially if you do a lot of walking.
