I keep getting reminded of this because of the suggestive ads that are anime themed.
I remember always checking out things like that, but I kind of got tired of it.
Sometimes I wish I had the time to get back into anime.

Anime is so cool, it's legit.

What's one thing from your past that was good that you keep getting reminded of?

Unless you're doing it right now, it will always be in the past.

Quitting my job and leaving the place where I lived.

You haven't seen me yet.

Yeah it does. But it's a French Canadian 3DCG cartoon.

Y'know, OP, I'm in a similar boat to you. I'd like to re-watch some anime shows I haven't seen in a long time: I'm always reminding myself to sit down sometime and re-watch films, programmes and anime I loved but I rarely do it as much as I'd like. It's a shame that I haven't seen Durarara, Paranoia Agent or Serial Experiments Lain in the past 4 years.

Same goes for video games I loved playing years ago but just haven't had much time to revisit them. It's only recently I've had chance to get around to finishing the Silent Hill games again.

I guess I get a similar feeling for locations too - places I visited with my family when I was younger. Cornwall and the lake district spring to mind. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at both locations both times i visited (my most prominent memories of Cornwall are of the Eden project, the clean beaches, good ice cream, a surprising amount of sand dunes and Polperro, a great little fishing village that's filled to the brim with barrow roads and small cottages; I remember a gem and mineral shop in the lake district as well as plenty of bespoke shops that would sell handcrafted toys, gingerbread, things like that. I also remember a surprising amount of cinemas around there too). I have to revisit these places sometime.

Pic related, it's Polperro. Visiting this place as a kid and again as a mid-teen has cursed me now with a feeling of whimsy and nostalgia whenever I'm reminded of it.

this took nine years to make (I am not joking)

I live in Halifax nowadays, right next to Bradford, and every time I visit the National Media Museum I probably pop by this spot too. I know it's ridiculous that it took 9 years to make and it really is just a snazzy looking pond, but it's pretty neat. On bright, hot days it'll fill up so people can paddle and chill in it, on milder days it'll have a path going down its' centre and on warm nights the fountains light up. It's not much I guess but it's enough to make me go "Ooooooooh, aaaaaaahhh!"

do you know where 99p Stores is in Halifax town centre? I used to work there huehuehuehe

Haha, that's crazy. It seems ridiculous that there's a Poundland just down the road from the 99p Shop, too. What a small world, aye.
